Trailer for... 'Not The End of The World'

I got a lovely email last week, which included a link to the trailer of the show I worked on in Edinburgh last year; 'Not The End Of The World'. The director, Charlotte, has done a wonderful job of editing the film together, and it has lots of great shots of the wonderful music and drama... do have a watch!

I did a blog post recently with some of my photographs of the costume making, you can have a look at that here

Bassett, Scenic Painting

The other week, I did a lovely little  job for Hannah Sibai. She has designed 'Bassett', at the Crucible, Sheffield, and I painted the set for her.

On the inside, we see the  school classroom setting, and the outer sections were a good brick selection.

It was a really good couple of days work, and a real pleasure to realise Hannah's design for her.

COAL

Here are some details from the brass band costumes I've been responsible for, as assistant designer for COAL, choreographed by Gary Clarke, designed by Ryan Dawson-Laight.

I've been working on this wonderful show, assisting Ryan over the past few months, helping to pull together a large collection of costumes. It's been such a treat to work on such an important show, remembering not only the Miner's Strike, but the solidaritary of the mining communities, and all of our shared industrial heritage.

The show is coming to cast in Doncaster this Saturday, before heading to London, Newcastle, Newport and Nottingham in the coming weeks, so there are plenty of chances to see this show, that really cannot be missed.
More photos from the show, and details of the tour dates can be seen here
